  • The renter assumes the risk for the activity.
  • Renters are responsible for costs for repairs, and costs of replacing equipment, including restocking fee, lost income, and depreciation.
  • Renters are also financially responsible for the loss of the equipment, damages to the equipment, as well as any and all damages caused by the equipment including injury to other persons and property damage.
  • Overnight renters should have a secure place to keep the board when not in use.

Make sure that boards are securely fastened to your vehicle before driving anywhere, and check the straps often. If the board starts getting loose while driving, pull over and re-tighten the tie-down straps. Renters are responsible for repair costs for repairs. Buckled boards or otherwise irreparably damaged gear is considered broken and must be replaced. Lost or broken equipment will be paid for by the renter at fair replacement cost. Please do not rent our gear unless you can afford to replace

  • Minor Damages: Customer will be charged for costs of repairs, lost rental income, and a depreciation amount.
  • Buckled boards or otherwise irreparably damaged gear is considered broken and must be replaced. Lost or broken equipment will be paid for by the renter at fair replacement cost. Please do not rent our gear unless you can afford to replace
  • Renters are responsible for repair costs for repairs. Buckled boards or otherwise irreparably damaged gear is considered broken and must be replaced. Lost or broken equipment will be paid for by the renter at MSRP cost. 
  • Creased or Buckled boards or any other irreparably damaged gear is considered “totaled” (destroyed beyond economic repair) and must be replaced.
  • Lost, Stolen, or Broken, equipment will be paid for by the renter at MSRP Retail price. Please do not rent our gear unless you can afford to replace it.
  • In any event of gear loss or damage, the renter is responsible for the lost income from the rental equipment, equivalent to the daily rate each day until it has been replaced.
  • Please do not rent our gear unless you can afford to replace it, and if you are prepared to agree with these terms.

TIPS FOR GEAR CARE TO PREVENT DAMAGE:

  • Only use straps, not rope to tie down boards.
  • Overnight renters should have a secure place to keep the board when not in use.
  • Do not leave boards/kayaks on car racks overnight.
  • Make sure that boards are securely fastened to your vehicle before driving anywhere, and check the straps often.
  • If the board starts getting loose while driving, pull over and re-tighten the tie-down straps.
